For many the challenge won't be bowling well enough in a regional qualifying event to earn an invitation to the 2010 Teen Masters Championships in Reno. That will be the easy part. The real challenge will be putting together the funds to get there. What can be done? Introducing the Teen Masters National Finalist Corporate Partnership Program!
Through the Teen Masters National Finalist Corporate Partnership Program, the Teen Masters is giving local and regional companies the opportunity to showcase their community commitment and social responsibility by sponsoring a national finalist (aka You) in the amounts of $500, $250, and $100.
In plain English, identify someone to partner with you such as your bank, your grocery store, your dry cleaners, your insurance agent, etc., we will give them exposure through the resources of the Teen Masters, and you will receive funds to help cover your Teen Masters expenses. Consider it a Teen Masters stimulus package!
Teen Masters Championship Finalists
The program will allow you to receive reimbursement of the following:
- Registration Fee — The $397 Teen Masters registration fee.
- Reno Hotel Expense — Your hotel room expense at Circus Circus, Eldorado or Silver Legacy plus additional nights purchased through the Teen Masters rate plan.
- Air Fare — For those who fly to Reno, air fare for a bowler and one (1) accompanying parent/guardian (maximum of $600 per ticket).
- Gas Allowance — For those who drive to Reno, reimbursement of $0.50 per mile roundtrip.
- Meal Allowance — Meal allowance for a bowler and one (1) accompanying parent/guardian of $46 per day per person. (Will be based on number of nights booked at the partnering hotels).
To participate in the program, the following is required:
- Register — Sign up for the National Finals on TeenMastersBowling.com by paying your $397 registration fee. Your name will now be visible to potential corporate partners.
- Receipts — Submit your receipts via a form that will be provided to you. Receipts will be needed for your Teen Masters hotel package and airfares, but not for the registration fee, meals or gasoline expenses.
- Parent/Guardian PayPal Account — Your parent or guardian will need to have a PayPal account (setting up one is free on PayPal.com).
Within seven (7) days of receiving the required receipts, the Teen Masters will electronically transfer the sponsorship funds received on your behalf, up to the total of your allowed expenses, to your parent’s/guardian’s PayPal account. If your sponsorship funds exceed your allowed expenses, the balance will be donated to Special Olympics in your name.
